Live - for teachers, studios and schools

Ear training for the whole class.
And a map of what to focus on next.

Earonman Studio turns the ear-training app your students already use into a classroom tool: build a class, set focused homework, and let a weak-spot heatmap name the exact intervals and chords each student keeps missing.

Make a free account, tell us about your class, and we switch Studio on - usually within a day.

How Earonman Studio works

Three moves. The rest of the week runs itself, and the app does the marking.

Step 1

Build your class

Students join with a class code you approve, a share link, or an email invite - paste up to 100 addresses at once. You approve every join request, so you always control who is in the room.

Step 2

Assign focused homework

Pick a trainer and tick the exact items to drill, or assign a curriculum level as it stands. Set how many questions and an optional due date. Students get a finite, no-setup session that ends and marks itself complete.

Step 3

See where they struggle

Per-student accuracy, streak and practice time - plus a weak-spot heatmap that names the exact intervals, chords or scales each student keeps missing, and what they answer instead.

What the dashboard actually looks like

Everything below is the real Studio interface, filled with sample data. No slideware.

Class overview

The first thing you see when you open a class: is anyone falling behind, and has anyone stopped showing up? Struggling means under 60% accuracy over enough attempts to mean something. Inactive means no practice for seven days - and one click sends that student a nudge.

Weak-spot heatmap

The reason teachers use Studio. One row per student, one column per item, each cell the percentage they get right - green is solid, red is the thing to teach on Tuesday. Narrow it to a single homework, a single trainer or the last 30 days, and the class weak spots and the most common mix-ups are named for you above the grid.

  • Scope it to all practice, to homework only, or to one specific assignment.
  • Mix-ups show what students answer when they get it wrong - a tritone heard as a fifth is a different lesson from a tritone heard as a random guess.
  • “Assign practice on this” turns any weak spot straight into next week's homework.

Each cell is % correct for that item. Greener is better, red is a weak spot.

Homework, built in about twenty seconds

Choose custom items or an existing curriculum level, set the number of questions and a due date, and it lands in every student's app. Each homework card shows who finished, who started and who has not opened it, and links straight to that homework's own heatmap.

  • Seven trainers can be assigned item by item: Intervals, Chords, Scales, Slashmaster, Functioneer, Hybrid Lab and Polychordist.
  • Or assign any of the 250+ curriculum levels as-is, played as a finite session.
  • The item lists come from the live curriculum, so you can never assign something the app cannot play.

One student, one page - and a printable report

Open any student for their accuracy, sessions, practice time and active days, a week-on-week trend, and a breakdown by training mode. “Print / Save as PDF” produces a clean one-page report for a parents' evening or a school report - no app chrome, no dark background.

Roster, and who is ready to work

Level, XP and streak per student, and a badge saying whether they have Pro yet - their own subscription, or a seat your school bought for them. That is the one thing you have to keep an eye on, because a student without it sees your homework but cannot start it.

Great work this week. Focus on tritones and minor 6ths before Friday.

A weekly email, so you do not have to remember to look

Every week Studio emails you the same signals the dashboard shows: who is struggling, who went quiet, and how much homework came back.

The class-running parts, handled

Invites that fit a real school

A class code, a share link with a claim limit, single email invites, or a bulk paste of up to 100 addresses. Open invites stay listed and you can revoke any of them.

You approve every join

A student who enters your class code lands in a join-request queue. Nobody appears in your analytics until you say yes.

Co-teachers

Give a colleague access to view the class, set homework, post announcements and send reminders - without letting them touch the roster, billing or the delete button.

Archive or delete, on purpose

Archiving hides a finished class but keeps its data. Deleting is permanent and asks you to type the class name first.

Free for teachers

Studio costs you nothing. Once your teacher access is switched on, build a class and set homework - the dashboard, the heatmap, the printable reports and the weekly digest are yours from the first minute. What a student needs is Pro, and because they are in your class they get it for €4 a month instead of €6.99. Until they have it, their homework sits greyed out in the app.

  • You never enter a card. There is nothing to buy on the teacher side and nothing to cancel.
  • Your class has its own link. Students who open it and subscribe pay the class price - it works for nobody else, and it unlocks the app on every device they use.
  • Schools that would rather cover their students centrally: write to us and we will open seats for your term against a single invoice, instead of you chasing 25 parents.
  • A student who already has Pro is ready on day one, and the roster shows you at a glance who is in and who is not.

Prices in EUR. Teachers pay nothing, students cancel any time.

Built for schools, mindful of privacy

Students under 15 without verified parental consent are kept out of individual analytics by default (GDPR) - they still count in anonymised class aggregates, and their own page tells you plainly why it is empty. You only ever see progress for students who joined your class, and deleting a class removes its homework and per-question history for good.

Questions teachers ask

Who pays for what?

You pay nothing - Studio is free for teachers, with no trial to run out. A student needs Pro to take part in homework, and as a member of your class they get it for €4 a month rather than €6.99; until then their assignments stay greyed out in their app. Schools can buy that centrally for their students against an invoice instead.

Which devices does this work on?

Students practise on iOS, Android or in the browser, and their progress follows the account. Interval, chord and scale homework plays in the browser too; homework on the other trainers opens in the iOS or Android app. You run Studio in the browser on any laptop.

Can two teachers share a class?

Yes. Add a co-teacher by email and they can view analytics, set homework, post announcements and send reminders. Roster, billing and deletion stay with the owner.

Does the heatmap only cover homework?

Your choice. The default shows all of that student's practice, including play outside your class; two clicks narrow it to homework only, or to one specific assignment.

How do I get a Studio account?

Ask for it on this page. Make a free Earonman account, tell us about your class, and we switch Studio on by hand - usually within a day. If it helps, we will walk you through your first class.
