How it works

Step 1

Get your link

We set you up with a unique code and a referral link (earonman.com/r/YOURCODE) plus a dashboard to track everything.

Step 2

Share it

Post your link, or your code, to your audience. The most reliable way is to have them open your link and sign up on the web - the mobile site works great, and they can install the app afterwards.

Step 3

They get a bonus

Anyone who signs up on the web through your link (or with your code) gets a 30-day Pro trial - double the usual 14 days. A better offer for them, an easier yes for you.

Step 4

They upgrade, you earn

When a person you referred first upgrades to Pro - on web or in the app - you earn a one-time bounty (a fixed amount or a share of their first payment, agreed with you).

Step 5

We pay you out

Your dashboard shows what you're owed. We settle payouts manually and mark them paid.

The reliable way: sign-up on the web

The surest way for a referral to count - and the only way the person gets the 30-day trial - is to have them open your link and create their account on the web. Our site works well on phones, and once they have an account they can install the iOS or Android app anytime and log in - everything carries over, including your reward when they go Pro (whether they pay on web or in the app).

Signing up directly in the mobile app also works, but there the person must enter your code manually in the “Referral code” field, and the 30-day web trial does not apply. So lead with the web link whenever you can.

Important: how referrals are tracked

When someone opens your referral link, we save a cookie in their browser for 60 days and use it to credit you when they upgrade. Ad blockers, browser privacy settings, private/incognito windows, or cleared cookies can stop that cookie from being saved - and if it isn't, the referral can't be tracked from the link alone.

That is exactly why the code matters: always share your code too, and ask people to enter it in the “Referral code” field when they sign up. If neither the cookie nor your code is present at sign-up, the referral and its reward cannot be attributed to you - even if the person genuinely came from you. This is a limitation of how web tracking works, not a decision about your referral.

Rewards are also only earned on a genuine first upgrade to Pro by the referred person; self-referrals and fake sign-ups don't qualify. Full details are in the Affiliate Program Terms.
